Ron’s Blog

What’s Going On Here?

I am a 100% disabled veteran (U.S. Army). I have been a professional businessman for over 14 years. I retired two years ago. I’ve found that retirement is not all it’s cracked up to be.

In the last year, I have tried to find a job that uses my professional experience in a meaningful way. It turns out that experience and education do not count for much in the hiring process.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to start a third business in order to keep busy. I will be doing what I love. I am freelance writing and making resumes, business documents, research essays, and essentially anything you can think of for business or personal needs.

As time progresses I will be adding to my portfolio and putting up free templates. Keep checking back as my blog will be updated often.

Spiritual Meditation 1

He has told you, O man, what is good;
    and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
    and to walk humbly with your God?

                      Micah 6:8

Have you ever wondered about the meaning of life? Well God laid it out for you. Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God.

If you really think about this, God is telling you to do justice. Do what is right all the time. Even if it is hard to do right, even if it hurts you do what is right.

Love kindness. Just because you are justified in your actions. Maybe you have been hurt or used or taken advantage of, does not mean you have to act on that type of justice. Love kindness, “be ye kind one to another”.

Walk humbly with your God. We know we are children of God. We know God loves us and changed our lives. That does not mean that we are better than any criminal or any other sinner. We need to be humble in walking with God
